ToolPass
Simple for people. Accurate records.

How does an automated tool store work?

Three parts of one solution: employee identification, contactless tool reading and shared issue records.

An issue in a few steps

Take it.
Walk through.
Recorded.

The employee selects a tool. The doorway records it in their name as they leave.

Take it. Walk through. Recorded.

The RFID antenna reads the tool and creates an issue record.

Small tag. Clear identity.

Attach the tag.
Give each tool its own ID.

Clean the surface, remove the liner and press the tag into position. Read its unique ID and pair it with the individual tool in the software. This association tells the system which item the antenna has read at the doorway.

Tag design, size and type can be adapted to the tool, surface and operating conditions.

Access without delays.

Employees identify themselves by camera, access card or fob. Existing cards and fobs can be used after compatibility checks. Assigned permissions help protect against unauthorised issues.

02

Choose directly from the rack.

Each drill, grinder or gauge has an assigned RFID tag. Employees take the equipment they need for their work.

03

A passage becomes a record.

The antenna reads the tool IDs and the system associates them with the employee and direction of movement. The issue appears in the overview.

04

Returning closes the issue.

The system recognises returned tools and updates their status. The history remains traceable.
