ToolPass
From the first passage to everyday use

Antenna above the door.
Tags on your tools.

From a free consultation to an automated tool store. Standard deployment takes approximately one day, including item labelling, tag pairing and software setup. We prepare data, power and connectivity in advance and adapt the scope to your store size.

01

Free consultation.

Employees, shifts, tool types, the doorway and current records. Together we identify what automation should solve.

02

Plan the configuration.

One overhead antenna, a wall tablet and suitable tool tags. We prepare power, networking and camera or card identification.

03

Test your real tools.

We attach tags and pair their IDs with individual asset records in the software. We verify reading during normal passage, employee assignment and exception handling.

04

Launch and evaluate.

We train the team, check records and compare the process before and after deployment. Expansion is based on the results.

What to prepare

Five details
for a good start.

You do not need a finished specification. An approximate scope and photos of your current issue point will help.

  • Active employee and shift counts
  • Approximate tool quantities and types
  • Doorway photos or dimensions
  • Current issue and record-keeping process
  • Access, data and integration requirements

Frequently asked questions.

Can the antenna read metal tools?

Yes. The design uses suitable UHF on-metal tags. We verify the specific type, position and reading performance on your tools. Not every tag suits every surface.

Can several people pass at once?

Controlled passage is important for reliable tool assignment. Width, direction and simultaneous traffic rules are configured for your operation and verified during testing.

Can ToolPass work with existing doors?

Yes. We adapt ToolPass to your doorway and store: a square antenna above the opening, a camera tablet or card reader beside it and RFID tags on your tools. We consider dimensions, frame material and connectivity during installation. Your racks and layout can stay.

What if a tag is missed or an exception occurs?

The design includes a procedure for unassigned events and verification. Before launch, we test common tool combinations and error handling.

Can we use existing cards or fobs instead of a camera?

Yes. Employees can use their existing access cards or fobs instead of camera recognition. We verify the identifier type, compatible reader and access-system integration. Permissions and issues remain assigned to individual employees.

Will the system work without internet?

Outage behaviour, local event storage and subsequent synchronisation must be confirmed for the specific configuration. This website demonstration does not guarantee offline operation.

Can we connect ERP or additional stores?

Multiple stores and integrations require a separate design. We first verify available interfaces and required data flows. Integration is not included in the base price.

How quickly will it pay back?

It mainly depends on active employee numbers, issue frequency and time actually saved. The calculator shows an economic model. Validate operational results in a pilot; payback is not guaranteed.

How much time is tied up in your store?

Let’s calculate the difference self-service could make.
